Indian Shores is a stunning beach town on the Gulf Coast of Florida with plenty of things to do for you and everyone you’re traveling with. While there are many reasons to visit Indian Shores, one of the best things to do in Indian Shores is explore all the local restaurants. Since the town is on the coast, there’s no shortage of delicious seafood restaurants.

As you plan your trip to the Sunshine State, our vacation rentals in Indian Shores can give you the perfect home away from home for your stay. But for when you don’t feel like cooking in your rental, these are some of the best seafood restaurants in Indian Shores.

Salt Rock Grill

One of the best waterfront restaurants in Indian Shores is Salt Rock Grill. It’s a beautiful restaurant with great views, delicious drinks, and even better food. Since it’s on the water, you’ll find plenty of fresh-caught seafood on the menu, but don’t worry. They have plenty of other options if you or someone you’re dining with isn’t in the mood for seafood.

You’ll love their tropical cocktails and an impressive wine list that has something to pair with whatever you choose to eat. Seafood lovers will delight in the raw bar and extensive selection of other coastal fare from scallop-crusted sea bass to jumbo coconut shrimp. They even have a sushi menu if that’s your seafood style! Salt Rock Grill is a lovely restaurant to celebrate, or for a date, and on the weekends, you can dine on their Tiki deck and listen to live local music.

The Original Crabby Bill’s

For those who enjoy eating at local and family-owned restaurants, The Original Crabby Bill’s is the restaurant to be at. This local joint is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so it’s easy to make time to eat here while you’re in Indian Shores.

As the name might suggest, you’ll find plenty of crab on the menu, as well as fresh seafood. In addition to having some of the best seafood in town, they have plenty of other dishes featuring other proteins and vegetarian options on the menu. Whether you want to grab a quick bite to eat for breakfast before starting your day or enjoy the sunset with live music at dinner, you won’t want to miss visiting Crabby Bill’s.

It’s one of the most beloved spots in town, and despite having high-quality seafood, they’re also one of the most affordable.

Jimmy Guana’s

One of the best things to do in Indian Shores Florida is to visit Jimmy Guana’s. Yes, it’s a restaurant, but it’s also a fun experience sure to be a highlight of your time in Indian Shores. The cuisine you’ll find on the menu ranges from fresh seafood to your favorite American classics, making it a great choice for a group with varying tastes. P.J.’s Oyster Bar

P.J.’s Oyster Bar is a local spot where you’ll see people grabbing a casual bite to eat while sipping beer and fun cocktails. The restaurant is right up the road in Indian Rocks Beach, so not far from our Indian Shores rentals.

Despite the name, it’s a kid-friendly spot. The restaurant and bar are laid back, featuring dollar bills along the walls and nautical and sports decor. As the name might suggest, you’ll find a variety of oysters on the menu, like oysters Rockefeller. The menu also has fresh seafood like king crab, sushi, and more.
