Memorial weekend is traditionally the kick off to summer vacationing, this means Beach time. Whether you pack a picnic, eat from the amazing beach cafes or bring food to grill, your best bets are Coquina beach, Manatee Public Beach and The Bayside park on the North side of Anna Maria Island. Each of these park,beaches has shaded picnic area, bathroom facilities and public charcoal grills available. Easy access by free Trolley, as parking may go quickly on the Holiday weekend. Weather is forecasted to be in the high eighties so remember to wear sunscreen, hats and Hydrate often.

Memorial Day Brass concert~ The Memorial Day concert is the granddaddy of them all. The show includes: The First Brass, The Jacobites, RHS Highland Dancers, vocalist Sharon Scott and perhaps a surprise local celebrity or two.
