Clearwater and Tampa have several tried and true area activities that add that extra spark to the typical family trip. Save time for the special things that make your trip Unique to your style or entertainment.
Offers, a silky sand setting to stroll along the beach, relaxing in the sun, fishing from the pier , and afternoon and evening activities and festivals. Be dazzled by the variety of street performers, artisans, crafters and hair braiding and all day beach fun including bungee jumping, inflatable slides and a playground for the little ones. End the day with sunset over the pier and family cinema in the park . Keep it simple with all activities in one area. Food venders are on site, and several amazing restaurants are walking distance. Make it a beach day.
The Lowry Park Zoo~ is one of my favorites. I can stroll through the Monkey exhibits for hours. Take a Safari through Africa, or stop in to see the warm weather Penguins. Interactive area’s include, a Parrot habitat, you can walk through, a petting zoo, and a wallaby walk. The Children’s area features some carnival rides and a Splash pad, as well as a tour train, for those who prefer to ride through. Climb the tower to feed the Giraffe, or ride the camel. The Park offers several live shows and special events year around. Animals are more active early morning or later in the day when the weather is cooler. Visit the Aquatic area and hand feed, or pet a Stingray. Learn more about the Florida Wildlife and how to preserve and maintain the environment in which they need to thrive.
