Where Can You See Live Music on Anna Maria Island?

Seeing live music is a fun experience, regardless of where you are. When you stay at an Anna Maria Island vacation rental, there are plenty of places where you can have a fun night out and watch some live music.

There are so many things to do on Anna Maria Island besides digging your toes in the sand and relaxing your cares away. While you can spend all day walking the strip, shopping, or having an outdoor adventure, these live music venues are perfect for dancing and singing the night away.

Here are the best places to see live music on Anna Maria Island.

The Ugly Grouper

When the Anna Maria Island weather is perfect, and the sky is clear, head to The Ugly Grouper! This entirely-outdoors venue is ideal for spending a night out in the open air. This family-friendly live music venue is perfect for listening to local live music as you sample some of their fantastic seafood and even watch the game!

There’s no telling who will play the Ugly Grouper! You can find acts like Chuck Caudill Duo, Scotty Mac, and more. Check the monthly calendar on their website to see who will be playing when you visit. Don’t forget to get a family picture in front of the giant Ugly Grouper statue and share it on social media!

Island Time Bar & Grill

Are you looking for live music on Anna Maria Island that brings a fresh twist and quality food? Island Time Bar and Grill has precisely that. You’ll find some of the best live entertainment here at Island Time with local artists like Chris Warner, Pamela K Ward, and Beach Street. Island Time is located directly across from the beach, and with the late hours they have, you can walk out onto the beach after your live show. You can spend all day at the beach and wander over for some of the best food on Anna Maria Island when you’re done.

Upstairs from the music venue is Bridge Street Bistro, which offers some of the finest dinings on Anna Maria Island. After dinner, you can head downstairs for an after-meal drink and enjoy the live music. Check their monthly calendar to see who plays live at Island Time Bar and Grill.

Blue Marlin

Opening in November of 2011, Blue Marlin Seafood found a home on historic Bridge Street. You’ll know you’ve found this now-iconic seafood restaurant by its bright blue exterior, something that was popular in the 1920s cottages. All the seafood here comes from “boat to table,” everything being caught by the local Cortez fishing boats.

The Blue Marlin Seafood restaurant has live music in their courtyard garden seating area every Friday and Saturday. You can come out, enjoy live music, and have some of the freshest seafood on Anna Maria Island. Make sure to call ahead because reservations are strongly recommended. They also have a casual attire dress code.

The Bridge Tender

This Inn and Dockside Bar offers it all to visitors and locals alike. The Bridge Tender is famous for its “Old Florida” vibes, as well as its fabulous food and world-class entertainment. On the menu, you’ll find imported steaks, seafood, ribs, pasta, divine appetizers, sandwiches, and other things to munch on when you come to this spectacular eatery.

The Bridge Tender also has some of the most vibrant live entertainment. You’ll find many local artists on their live music list, like Doug Bidwell, Luke Andrews, James Albritton, and so many more! If you want to come to hang out earlier in the day before the festivities start, they also have bar games on some days! On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, The Bridge Tender has Bingo. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, saddle up to the bar for a round or two of Bar Poker. You’ll always find something fun going on when you go down to the Bridge Tender Inn and Dockside Bar.
