Anna Maria Island has been a secret getaway for years. The word is out and this Island gem has been getting noticed. Famed for its family-owned and operated specialty restaurants, you may have a hard time deciding where to go. Let us break it down to the area you are staying in. Bradenton Beach is dubbed the lively side of the Island, offering more live music and options for later hours. This is a perfect family spot, with opportunities for adults to have some time for date night.
For those of you who like great seafood, beach views, unique menus and of course great ice cream, this is the guide for you..
The most obvious places are on the Beach and on Bridge Street. Sometimes there are hidden treasures on side streets and back Alleys. Here is our list to make your search easy. Starting at the northernmost part of Bradenton Beach to the south of the island, in order.

French Table is a little French restaurant located in Bradenton Beach, across from the beach, and owned by Marieke and Christophe, from the South West of France. It has a cozy French atmosphere. This outdoor space offers our full-service dining experience, or more casual dining with our signature “Street Food,” ordered at our outdoor kitchen and delivered to your table. Bridge Tender Inn and Dockside Bar~Open air seating in the Bar restaurant with Lively entertainment or inside for a more intimate dinner plus Sports TV’s .( Spoiler alert, the owners are Green Bay Packer Fans). The dockside bar is great for a casual cocktail/ dinner can be served there also, & occasional live music. Lots of fun, very busy, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. expect to wait in season. Coquina Beach Cafe~ is open for breakfast and all day with amazing fresh cooked meals and treats, including the morning coffee. If you take a stroll through the shaded trails, Leffis Key or the beachline, you will not regret stopping for a meal or cocktail at the Beach cafe. It is the last trolley stop before Longboat Key.
