Florida Strawberry, Fair and Music Festival

Celebrate the Bountiful Strawberry Harvest in Plant City Florida. Steeped in local traditions this celebration features parades, floats, youth developmental programs, live music, exhibits of agriculture, commerce, industry, livestock, fine arts, horticulture, and crafts.  The stuff small town county fairs are made of. This is one of the most anticipated festivals in Florida and in  the Top 40 nationwide.

Concert Headliners are lining up for the show of the year in Plant City. Make sure to get your tickets for each concert before their gone. Country superstars like Big & Rich, Reba McEntire, Trace Adkins to name a few. Legends, like Earth Wind and Fire, and I Love the 90s Tour featuring Vanilla Ice, Salt-N-Pepa and Tone Loc, and inspirational sounds of Casting Crowns and old time Croner’s  “The Lettermen” to name a few. Additional groups of, rising stars and Icons are joining in for this musical extravaganza covering Rock, Big band, R&B Urban Rap and More.  All ages have something to plan for or just happen upon while your are sharing and old fashioned family outing or reliving a special date.

Plan a day trip to reconnect with  all day celebration of life, family, and strawberries. Food, fun, and great memories are a hour or so drive from the Florida Gulf Coast at Anna Maria Island or Clearwater area and your vacation property.


The Belle City Midway offers over 80 rides games and attractions, and of coarse all of your favorite festival foods, with the added strawberry recipes to tantalize you at every turn. The Sunnybell Kiddie Korral offers Small rides that are separate for small kids. Several stages are set in between with free entertainment. Video tour of the fair grounds and rides

Free entertainment included with entry fee is abundant. Enjoy live music of every Genre, at the Publix Showcase Tent and Smithfield Strawberry Tent. On The Grounds you will be amazed at the variety of local entertainment, like Indian World traditional dancing exhibition, Magicians, even pig racing, and dog surfing. If you like a challenge or just enjoy the show, join in a strawberry shortcake eating competition, strawberry soda guzzling, strawberry mashed potatoes even strawberry spaghetti or Amish donuts in groups of 4. If you  prefer to challenge your speed, not your belly, enter the strawberry stem removal contest for kids or adults.

Neighborhood Village~ Meander through the homemade and hand crafted items made by local community. Award winning arts and photography, apparel, beading, quilting, and other handcrafted treasures are on display.  Enjoy all of the homemade foods from pies, breads, cakes, cookies, preserves,(including meats and pickled items) and more. This is “State fair” at its best. You will be amazed at how many creative and delicious ways you can enjoy the freshest of strawberries.

The Youth Livestock shows bring in a whole different audience. Teaching the next generation the  fine art of farming. Check the line up for competition, with lamb, steer, swine, chicken or rabbit. Read the Rules before entering any contests.

Enjoy the best of entertainment and exhibits for 11 days and nights,  March 1-11, 2018.The Grand Parade is Monday, March 5 at 1 p.m. It forms at Reynolds and Evers streets in downtown Plant City, then heads west on Reynolds to the festival grounds.


Tickets for Entertainment or admission are sold at in advance at participating Publix plus at the Gate. Daily rates  as well as Wristbands for endless mechanical rides are available (Check for discounts and wristband specials ahead)

Gates open from 10am to 10pm ~Midway hours are as follows:

  • SunnyBell Kiddie Korral: Daily from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday–Friday: 12:00 noon – 11:00 p.m.
  • On Friday, March 9th, Midway closes just before 10:00 p.m. and reopens from 10:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. for Moonlight Magic,
  • Weekends & Monday: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
