Manatee Public Beach has everything you need to fill your day with beach activities. Located at 4000 Gulf Dr. at the end of Manatee Ave. The Trolley stops here about every 20 minutes, if you prefer not to drive. There is plenty of parking, but get there early, as it is popular place to retreat.

Every morning, you can start at the Anna Maria Island Beach Cafe with all you can eat pancakes and continue with lunch and dinner.  Edy’s Ice Cream is always a treat. Shaded tables are provided. Surf, Sun & Sand Gift Shop is perfect for those little things you may need, like flip flops ,T-shirts, Sunscreen and super cute, Island Clothes and Gifts. If you want to Ride your bike or walk, Cabanas, umbrellas and chairs are available for rent.

For those of you who need a like extra, the Bamboo Beach Bar is centrally located, with bar seating and beach view. With live music nightly, you may feel free to sing along, or dance in the sand.

The beach does have life guards to keep watch, and the family will have no problem staying busy, between , beach, surf, playgrounds, and beach Volleyball.

Enjoy making your own meals in the Shaded Picnic area, complete with grills and tables. You will find that the restroom/changing room & outdoor shower are an added bonus.

Bring your camera and stay for sunset. You are in for a beautiful day. Stay for a cocktail and take the Free Trolley back to your Anna Maria Vacation Rental Home.
