The restaurant is known for its fresh seafood and tropical cocktails, but they have plenty of other options if those aren’t your favorite things. Their happy hour’s deals run from Monday to Friday, from 3 pm to 6 pm.
For drinks, you can get cheap domestic beer, wine, and tropical drinks like pina coladas. The prices range from $2.50 to only $4, which is a steal. As for food, you can get discounted oysters, spinach artichoke dip, and calamari.
Bridge Street Bistro

When you arrive, you can stand, walk around, or find a table to sit at. It’s first-come, first-serve, so we recommend getting there early. The cocktails they offer during happy hour change, so it’s best to check the menu the day of or ask your bartender when you arrive.
The Doctor’s Office
The Doctor’s Office is a unique happy hour spot near our Anna Maria Island rentals, but we also suggest popping in even when it’s not happy hour. This restaurant features what they call their “green hour,” where they have complimentary absinthe tastings. They serve the complimentary absinthe from their absinthe fountain, so it’s truly a unique experience. The restaurant is stunningly decorated, and it feels like you’ve stepped back in time to an elegant speakeasy.
The Doctor’s Office happy hour is more of an experience than some other happy hour spots, but it’s worth it. It’s a popular spot, so depending on what day of the week you plan on visiting, you might want to make a reservation in advance.
Island Time Bar and Grill
Island Time Bar and Grill isn’t just a hotspot for happy hour; it’s one of the best music venues in Anna Maria Island. You’ll find it as you enter the roundabout near the famous Bridge Street shopping area. This is the perfect happy hour spot for those who want more variety.
They offer one of the longest happy hours, Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and a nightly happy hour from 10 p.m. until midnight. They play live music between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. if you want to enjoy that while you sip fun cocktails and enjoy a few reasonably priced appetizers.

Anna Maria Oyster Bar (AMOB) is at the very end of the Bradenton Beach Pier. It’s one we always recommend to those staying at one of our Florida Gulf Coast vacation rentals because the food, drinks, and service are amazing.
Plus, you can’t beat the view. They have happy hour every day from 3 pm to 6 pm and run different specials. When you arrive during this time, they’ll provide you with a happy hour menu with all the food and drink specials they offer.
We recommend trying any of the cocktails they offer during happy hour instead of a beer or glass of wine. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, so if you’re stuck trying to decide between certain drinks or dishes, you can always ask for their opinion.

The Ugly Grouper
The Ugly Grouper used to be the Barefoot Tiki but was renamed in 2015. It’s close to many of our Anna Maria Island vacation rentals, making it a great option when you want happy hour deals. Their happy hour runs from Monday through Friday, 4 pm to 6 pm.
The food on happy hour ranges from seafood classics to bar food. As for the drinks, you’ll find a little bit of everything here. Their tropical cocktails are most people’s go-to, but they have plenty of domestic beer and wine you can try.
This fun restaurant and bar feature karaoke, live music, and other fun events regularly during their happy hour, so be prepared for a lively time. The Ugly Grouper is the place you go when you want to hang out amongst locals in addition to visitors.
Cortez Grill
Last but certainly not least, there’s Cortez Grill. This local favorite has recently reopened after some remodeling, so you get a brand new-looking spot but with all the local flare and sense of community people love about the place.
It’s a casual seafood restaurant with more than just seafood to offer. Their happy hour is a fan favorite because it’s affordable, and they have a decent amount of options.
