The historic Cortez fishing village is very close, and if you cross the Cortez bridge onto Anna Maria Island you can get to the sparkling Gulf waters within minutes. Once you’re on the Island, take Anna Maria’s free trolley for great shopping and dining options.
Shopping on Bradenton beach is convenient and close. The Bridge Street merchants have a unique variety of shopping and dining as well as marina rentals. Charter a fishing trip, dolphin or sunset tour, or go big with Parasailing. They also rent boats, jet skis and more, just across the Cortez Bridge or at the Bridge Street Pier.
This home is located close to some of the best seafood restaurants in the area. Right on the Sarasota Bay is the Swordfish Grill, Cortez Kitchen, Starfish(outdoor dining or take out) and Tide Tables, facing the Island. On the North side of the street is Seafood Shack with Maria view. On your way back, make a stop at Tyler’s ice cream at the light at 119th street. They even sell pints to go.
